Most large estates in the late 1800's had facilities for staff, horse-drawn vehicles and horse feed. The Florence's Cottage was used for all of these.
During the 1900's, it was updated and
today comprises four modern en-suite bedrooms.
These rooms comprise:
The Hayloft
A family room with one double bed and two single
beds. Adequate space is left for sitting comfortably and watching the river pass on its way to Chepstow.
The Bothy
A double bedded room on the ground floor
with its own private access to the garden. Separate bathroom and toilet.
Stunning views of the river and valley.
The Countryside Room
A double bedded room on the first floor with two windows to the north and the
west, with beautiful views of the river, valley and woodland.
The Carriage Room
A pleasant light ground floor room with a
king size bed. Glorious views of the river and valley beyond. |
