One of the finest fisheries on the River Wye, situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with an annual catch of some 150 salmon. There is excellent fly water and all the beats can be easily fished by spinning. The fishery covers 2½ miles and is fished as eight beats with a maximum of two rods per beat. Letting is by the beat and is fished on a rotational basis with the change over of beats occuring at 1pm daily.
The marked beats are primarily fished for salmon and seatrout. There is also however, trout and course fishing water available including a stocked trout pond which is an ideal way of introducing would-be fishermen to the delights of fishing.
There is a well-appointed fishing hut and easy access to all beats. An experienced ghillie is in attendance daily to give help and advice.
